Sunset Park is a desirable neighborhood in Brooklyn that’s popular with entrepreneurs, commuters and families in search of affordable real estate. The community saw its first boom as a result of the shipping and manufacturing industries and an influx of immigrants in search of work in the early 1900s. Sunset Park is home to a 25-acre green belt located in the heart of the city, also named Sunset Park, which is much used and enjoyed by the locals. The park offers tremendous views and is also the location of a memorial commemorating the 9/11 attacks, which were visible from the park.
